| I have to say, she sounds quite good here. A rather touching performance of Embraceable You from Liza to us on her 75th on her official Instagram. | |

| I've always wondered if, at some point, she might segue into a kind of Mabel Mercer act -- performing seated in a smallish room, offering thoughtful, soulful renditions of selections from the American songbook. This almost seems like a preview of that. | |

| Well put together with some lovely tributes. Especially heartfelt performances by Michael Feinstein and Ben Vereen. I thought Kathy Najimy and Joel Grey gave nicely thought out tributes. | |

| That may have been a blessing. She gave a highly manufactured performance that was almost comically overwrought. | |

| As one of our own has pointed out elsewhere, there are at least two other MAJOR misspellings in the article that I didn't catch (because I was reading so quickly) -- Vincent Minnelli and July Garland. The later is obviously a typo, but still..... | |

| Just video after video of people saying how much they love Liza. It should’ve just been given to Liza as a fabulous gift for her. Not sure why it was being shown to us. For $30!!! | |

| And not criticized. I don’t think so. I appreciate the comments. It doesn’t sound like my kind of show And the benefit is 20% above costs—really not a large percentage of ticket charged. But mostly taped tributes don’t have much cost involved. I prefer ratatouille show that benefited actors fund to spend my money. | |

| I can't remember what the ticket price was... but what it was, it's worth it. No Liza, mind you... but a ton of great friends, and so much Liza love. If you admire her, even a smidgen, I say do it. I had to google a few names that I wasn't familiar with, but there are plenty everyone knows. I'll stop. But yes, you should see it. |

| Hearing Michael York’s voice, listening to heartfelt tributes by Michael Feinstein and Joel Grey, hearing how touched Jason Alexander was after working with Liza on “The Rink”.....these were just some of the moments that, for me, made the two hours very worthwhile. But when people said things like: may you have 75 years more, or was it Kathy Lee Gifford who said “ May your best years be ahead of you,” it just underscored the fact that time has taken its toll on a great star, as it must, for all of us. | |
