| I should probably know this :-) but how many shows do you consider your critical mass? I think there will be 20+ shows on Broadway in the Spring, and hopefully that's enough to get you here. | |

| Probably 3 or 4 that I really want to see | |

| I doubt that there will be 20 new ones next spring. I think a lot of focus will be getting the old shows up and running. As for new ones, I think only flying over sunset, doubtfire and maybe sing street. Michael jackson and Britney Spears are a skip for me. I don’t like Caroline and I could care less about female version of 1776. None of the plays (revival or new) interest me so far. But maybe offbroadway will have something that peaks my curiosity. | |

| obviously too soon to tell but I am pretty convinced that we will see less old shows than people are anticipating. The market is going to consist largely of theatre-goers rather than casual theatre attendees, and the former really have little interest in seeing how shows they have already seen are holding up. I expect the season to have at least a dozen or so new offerings. But as I like to say repeatedly because it sounds so cool, I know nothing. | |

| Of course this is all a guess Pretty sure return Wicked Hamilton Phantom (in some form) Chicago Lion king Hadestown. Probably Hansen Aladdin Aint too proud So that leaves Mormon Harry Potter (maybe revised as one play but wouldn’t be surprised if close) Come from away (it was around break even like mean girls so maybe just take the insurance and close). Mockingbird (Scott rudin is unpredictable) And this years Moulin rouge Jagged little pill Tina (might depend on Adrienne Warren schedule) The first batch may not open in fall but wait until sometime in 2022 but won’t give up the theater. |

| My comment was limited to the 21-22 season. I think there is a good chance one or more of Phantom, Chicago, and Hadestown do not reopen in that timeframe. I think any of your probables or leftovers might not. I think your bottom group will, at least 2 of them. (Again, I know nothing.) Regarding not giving up the theatre, that's not entirely up to them. It is at least possible that some new show that the landlord holds in high regard could bounce a show that's not reopened if the specific theatre is pivotal to the deal. (See, e.g., MM vs. Beetlejuice, which WAS running lol) I don't think we have a good read on where things will be in April in terms of theatrical tourism (meaning casual), and personally I just don't think the market will support all of these tourist shows. It would take a LOT (to the point of inconceivability) to get masses of locals and people like you to decide you need to see Chicago or Phantom or Aladdin etc etc again we shall see |
