| Its a cast of 20 w/14 musicians. But its also a show that is transferring - its not teching a show from scratch, with a lot of unknowns. 7 years earlier, PIPPIN had a cast of 2 and band of 10. ON THE TOWN had a cast of 29 and orchestra of 28. Both were new productions. Both cost less than $10 million. So yeah - $13 million is a lot for a transfer of this COMPANY from London. I would imagine this production cost $5 million or less in London. |
