| PUCCINI - WORLD PREMIERE WORLD PREMIERE SUNDAY, MARCH 14th If the world of Opera has ever seemed forbidding or something tough to understand, this show is a fun way into musical stories of scandal, lust and love. With some of the most beautiful music ever composed and many familiar tunes that have made it into popular culture, this production shares where that music came from. Join us for an evening of music and story coming to you directly from Florence, Italy, the city where Opera was invented (true!). The performance is in English, and if any words are in Italian, they are subtitled. Filmed and performed on location in Lucca, Pisa, and Florence, Italy, in the very locations where events took place, including the home of Puccini's birth. Hershey Felder is known for his theatrical portrayals of great composers (George Gershwin Alone, Beethoven, Irving Berlin, Fryderyk Chopin, Leonard Bernstein, Tchaikovsky, Liszt and more) as well as a full upcoming season of theatrical creations brought to you at home from his artistic base in Florence, Italy. With the onset of world changes, Hershey Felder created HERSHEY FELDER PRESENTS - LIVE FROM FLORENCE, an Arts Broadcasting Company, devoted both to entertaining, as well as raising funds for Artists and Theatrical Organizations in need.
