Just caught up with this and it was a really interesting discussion. I suppose that Jonathan Groff was not available to talk about the most recent revival, but it was great to have Glick there. Jeremy Jordan didn't have a lot to add to the conversation since he never actually performed the role (he was in rehearsal to join the latest revival when the pandemic hit).

The most interesting parts came when surprise guest Donna Murphy joined the conversation. I had no idea that she had played Audrey in the original production for one performance only. Lee Wilkof said that she was the sexiest Audrey he ever worked with and I would have loved to have heard more about her approach to the role.

It's so interesting that we hear about these all interesting actresses who followed Ellen Greene as Audrey (Faith Prince, Annie Golden, now Murphy, and also Carolee Camello gets raves here a lot for her performance in the original Boston company), but we never hear about any of the actors who followed Wilkof as Seymour. I gather he went in and out of the show, and he mentioned that, after he left the show full time, he remained on as the cover for Seymour, which must have been interesting for the actors playing the role.
