| SWAMP MOTEL Meets SXSW SWAMP MOTEL, the UK's award-winning immersive digital entertainment innovators, joins SXSW Online 2021 (March 15, 2021 - New York, NY) - UK-based entertainment innovators Swamp Motel are pleased to announce that they're joining the SXSW Online festival this year as part of the Creative Industries Exhibition from March 16-20, 2021. Plymouth Point, Swamp Motel's critically acclaimed digital immersive mystery, will be available daily for SXSW 2021 delegates to attend free of charge as a 'special event' on the festival schedule. The South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference & Festivals celebrate the convergence of the interactive, film, and music industries. Fostering creative and professional growth alike, SXSW® is the premier destination for discovery. As part of the 2021 offerings, the SXSW Online digital experience will take place from March 16-20. New for 2021, the Creative Industries Exhibition at SXSW Online is an all-inclusive digital expo serving as the epicenter of business for this year's SXSW experience. Top creative organizations, innovative industry leaders, small businesses, and emerging startups from all over the world will come together for this online expo. SXSW's world-class exhibitions highlight the integrations and overlaps between the Interactive, Music, and Film industries and connect attendees with some of the world's most innovative companies. The Creative Industries Exhibition will feature dynamic, trailblazing organizations and thought leaders that are changing the game and looking to share their stories and ideas with thousands of creative professionals from around the globe. Hailed as "fiendishly good fun" by Metro, Plymouth Point is an unmissable theatrical experience that takes place entirely online and pulls participants into the dangerous underbelly of a suburban community. A young woman has gone missing, and the residents of Plymouth Point are concerned. The neighborhood's Residents Watch has invited you to an emergency Zoom meeting for a briefing before you join the search. Piece together the mysterious story behind her disappearance by hunting online for clues to her whereabouts before it's too late... but be careful not to get caught in the web of conspiracies, cults and corporate deceit that lies ahead. Plymouth Point is the first installment in Swamp Motel's London Stone Trilogy, a trio of online-based theatrical adventures designed as at-home experiences for a team of 2-6 people who are not physically together. Each participant joins on their own computer, with one person sharing their screen with the team. Initial instructions are given in the ticket confirmation email, the Residents Watch meeting begins at the appointed time, and then it's up to your team of sleuths to collectively find the answers. Everything takes place online: players will have to scour social media for clues, crack codes to break into secure websites, and discover secret passwords to solve the mystery, all in 60-75 minutes. Plymouth Point is performed Wednesday-Sunday at 7:30 pm ET / 4:30pm PT and 9:00 pm ET / 6:00 pm PT, as well as 8:55 pm PT / 11:55 pm ET.
