| Wouldn't now be a great time for one of those live musicals on television? | |

| Obviously, they've run the gamut in quality, but with so much of the country's stage talent out-of-work while television has long been back in production, I would love another live musical on one of the networks. If they wanted to do a "current" production and make it an experience closer to Hamilton rather than, say, Hairspray Live, they could even use the show's set in NYC. Chicago comes immediately to mind as a recognizable property that could attract some name talent and put a paycheck in the hands of lots of gypsies and techies. | |

| I don't think people should be singing at each other until everyone has been able to be vaccinated! Television productions have been able to use mitigation strategies for regular scenes and dialogue, but singing is a different matter. | |

| "I don't think people should be singing at each other until everyone has been able to be vaccinated!" Maybe I'm missing something in your argument, but if that's your criterion, then it would be fine as long as everyone in the cast had been fully vaccinated. Am I missing something? (I realize that's a big "if," but more and more people are becoming eligible for vaccines, so hopefully it won't be too long now.) |
