I'll happily take our days of heat, humidity, and thunderstorms, but how much more outdoor theatre-friendly SD is! What scares me is not the weather, but how horrific the fight for tickets at the Delacorte is going to be.

Agreed! I just checked the Globe's website. When they return to the outdoor venue, they plan to produce "The Taming of the Shrew," directed by Shana Cooper, and "Hair," directed by James Vásquez and choreographed by Rickey Tripp. Both of these productions were scheduled for last summer. Looks as though they plan to "let the sunshine in," or, perhaps, to "let it all hang out..." :) Bill, in San Diego
