| NEWLY MINTED GRAMMY AWARD-WINNER LAUREN PATTEN TO LAUNCH ROOFTOP CONCERT SERIES FROM TODAYTIX PRESENTS TO BE HELD LIVE AND IN-PERSON THIS APRIL CONCERTS FROM DEREK KLENA, ANA VILLAFAÑE, AND BRADLEY GIBSON TO FOLLOW TICKETS ON SALE NOW New York, NY (March 17, 2021) – TodayTix has announced their initial lineup for a brand new TodayTix Original concert series, to be held live and in-person in New York City on the rooftop at Showfields (11 Bond Street) throughout the month of April. Safely bringing together performers and audience members for the first time in more than a year, this exclusive TodayTix Original concert series will launch on Friday, April 2 at 6:30 PM with newly-minted Grammy Award-winner Lauren Patten, breakout star of Jagged Little Pill. The concert series will continue throughout the month of April, with Tony Award nominee Derek Klena (Jagged Little Pill) on Saturday, April 3, On Your Feet! star Ana Villafañe on Friday, April 16, and The Lion King’s Bradley Gibson on Saturday, April 17; all performances begin at 6:30 PM. Tickets for each concert are $40 per person and are on sale now exclusively at TodayTix.com. “With the current regulations the city has set in place, we feel we can finally re-enter the live-events space successfully, ensuring that all attending and involved parties can celebrate the magic of live entertainment safely,” Tony Marion, the executive producer of TodayTix Presents, said. “We are thrilled to have such a magnificent lineup of working artists to bring us back to that magic just over a year after the pandemic changed our lives forever." The TodayTix Originals Concert Series is produced by TodayTix Presents, TodayTix Group's original production arm. Launched in 2019, TodayTix Presents offers the company’s international audience unique and completely original experiences, while supporting the best artists in the global entertainment community and engaging in new and innovative formats of theatrical storytelling. All events will comply with any applicable requirements on outdoor cultural events and gatherings set by applicable federal, state, or New York City law or guidelines or other directive from the governor or any government agency. All audience members will be required to wear masks at the events and temperature checks will be conducted before entering the venue. Tickets will be sold in "pods" of 2 and 4, requiring that each pod contain members of the same party, to allow for proper social distancing protocols. PERFORMER BIOS LAUREN PATTEN originated the role of Jo in the new Alanis Morissette musical Jagged Little Pill both on Broadway (Tony Award nomination, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards) and in the American Repertory Theater’s world premiere. Other theatre credits include: the Broadway production of Fun Home, The Wolves (Obie and Drama Desk winner), and Steven Levenson’s Days of Rage (Second Stage). He previously originated the role of Dmitry in Anastasia in the recent Broadway adaptation. Other Broadway credits include: The Bridges of Madison County (OBC), Wicked (Fiyero, 10th anniversary company.) Off-Broadway: Dogfight (Second Stage), Carrie (MCC). Regional: Anastasia (Hartford Stage), Diner (Signature Theatre (D.C.), DTC), Unknown Soldier (WTF), Hairspray (Hollywood Bowl). Derek is also known for his appearances on television in “The Code” (CBS), “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” (Netflix), “Quantico” (ABC), “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver” (HBO), “Blue Bloods” (CBS), “Law and Order: SVU” (NBC), and “Carrie Diaries” (CW). BRADLEY GIBSON; a North Carolina native, has appeared on Broadway in the OBC cast of ROCKY, A Bronx Tale, in addition to staring as Simba in Disney’s The Lion King. Off Broadway credits include The School for Scandal, and Love’s Labours Lost with the Public Theatre. On TV, Bradley can be seen in Mozart in the Jungle, Power Book II: GHOST, and the new CW drama Kung Fu. As a recording artist Brad has released two singles including his latest song “Fool”, which was released in the fall of 2020. ANA VILLAFANE: Ana was named one of the New York Times’ “30 under 30,” Ana Villafañe recently joined the cast of hit series “Younger” opposite Nico Tortorella and Sutton Foster for its final season. Ana also plays Dr. Valentina Castro on NBC’s medical drama “New Amsterdam” and appeared alongside Kal Penn on NBC’s comedy series “Sunnyside.”Ana originated the role of Gloria Estefan in the Broadway production of "On Your Feet”, starring in the hit musical throughout its entire run on Broadway (2014-2017). She earned a Theatre World Award for Best Actress in 2015. She later starred as Nina Rosario in the Kennedy Center’s 2018 production of “In the Heights”, and made her off-Broadway debut in MCC’s critically acclaimed “Collective Rage: A Play in Five Betties”.
