| THE BRICK THEATER ANNOUNCES THE STREAMING PREMIERE OF THE ULTIMATE STIMULUS: NOW MORE THAN EVER Brooklyn, NY — The Brick Theater proudly invites you to the streaming premiere of The Ultimate Stimulus: Now More than Ever , a digital revival of the original theatrical production, nominated for two New York Innovative Theater Awards, taking place April 15th (TAX DAY!) 8pm ET via The Brick YouTube Channel The Brick Theater presents The Ultimate Stimulus: NOW MORE THAN EVER Written by Felipe Ossa Performed by Tanya O’Debra Directed by Sara Wolkowitz Projection Design by Max Wolkowitz We've resurrected this show because under COVID the rich have gotten so much richer, while the number of people barely making ends meet has hit absurd heights. Well, the tables are about to turn. Renegade economist Amanda McCloud has been stuck at home, scheming. Ever since her proposal for solving wealth inequality in America—through modern-day concubinage—was rejected by TED, she’s been trying to get her message out. Now she’s made a video promoting her radical vision, rife with awkward sex and some very eligible billionaires. Could McCloud’s approach to one of our country’s most urgent problems be the answer no one was looking for? This streaming event is FREE but donations to The Brick are highly encouraged.
