Right. And then there was a second volume of the OKLAHOMA! cast album that included the three songs you mentioned but not the ballet, plus I believe a "finale" that was specifically constructed for the recording. "Lonely Room" was sung by Alfred Drake, not Howard Da Silva.

Apparently Da Silva had already left Oklahoma! when Volume 2 was recorded so Alfred Drake stepped in for that song. Ironically Da Silva also missed the recording session for the 1776 cast album because of his heart attack. I've always hoped that some day Sony will re-master 1776 and release the film soundtrack as well, making it a double CD package. I love Da Silva's inimitable characterizations on all his recordings, especially Fiorello!.

An early version of DVD extras so to speak. Of course the 78RPM OBC I seemed to listen to the most was the 6 12" disc recording of SONG OF NORWAY ... go figure!
