| When Merman played Reno, she was 26. The part was not written for even a "forty-ish" woman. Patti and Sutton both played it when they were in their 30s. And it's not just that Megan is 62, but that Robert is 71, and Felicity is 74. I'm 71 myself, but I'm going to take a hell of a lot of convincing before I'll agree that these people are the right ages to be playing these parts, in this show, at this time. |
