I finally watched Puccini which had its premiere last Sunday. Felder goes back to his roots and plays the piano again with Puccini as the composer. Felder weaves the biography of puccini with origins of his opera as 4 opera singers sing selections of his famous operas. Unlike some of Felder’s previous composers, I really knew nothing about pucinni and really enjoyed this 2 hour piece of theater filmed in pucinni’s birthplace and few other locations.
I think it officially ends on Sunday night but hopefully will be on goldstar like his other shows for enjoyment by many. |
