| Before Harry Potter moved in she made a deal with ATG to basically run the Curran. Essentially they'll now have a lock on all big commercial houses in SF now. I wonder how she'll feel about ATG now. |

| Masonic Temple is run by AEG (not to be confused with ATG) but no longer hosts Broadway shows and hasn't for years... they go to the Fisher and Opera House, occasionally the much larger Fox brings in a 1-2 night sit of a non-equity tour but it's rare. They have three venues in NYC (two on Broadway one in Brooklyn), also New Orleans, San Antonio, and they manage (but don't own) the gorgeous Colonial in Boston. There may be more but that's all I remember off the top of my head. |

| I lived in Detroit suburbs from 74-83. I didn’t know Masonic temple isn’t used anymore. I saw many shows at the fisher. I think I saw the mikado at the opera house. | |

| These days the presenter of Broadway tours there (Nederlander under the banner Bway in Detroit) exclusively uses the Fisher (which they own) and the Opera House (which they rent). On my very first tour we played the Masonic Temple... it was my introduction to Detroit and back then the city was still pretty rough downtown and the company had endless guards and security to get us in/out of the building parking area safely. The cast called it the 'demonic temple.' | |
