| The lyric /If you need a gal /To go without sal'ry and work too hard / You can always count on me/ is the gist of some dialogue out of the film Anatomy of a Murder between Eve Arden and James Stewart. There are other lyrics that evoke dialogue from The Maltese Falcon between Lee Patrick and Humphrey Bogart. I'm a huge fan of these movies which is one of the reasons I love City of Angels. |
