| These days the presenter of Broadway tours there (Nederlander under the banner Bway in Detroit) exclusively uses the Fisher (which they own) and the Opera House (which they rent). On my very first tour we played the Masonic Temple... it was my introduction to Detroit and back then the city was still pretty rough downtown and the company had endless guards and security to get us in/out of the building parking area safely. The cast called it the 'demonic temple.' |
