You also have a lot of people who still don't meet New York State vaccine eligibility yet - currently you have to be over 50 or fall under a list of very specific health/job requirements - so, making them eligible them now or ASAP will go a long way in terms of fully reopening production offices, rehearsal studios, costume shops, etc. Anything to get a jump start on all the work it will take to get performances actually happening.
The biggest question is will audiences return and how, and how much operating deficit shows are willing to take on as the industry climbs back. |
