She was lovely in what was admittedly a very small role in the Roundabout's Anything Goes with Sutton Foster and Joel Grey... she only did it for the first 4 months of the run because a TV show she was in got renewed (where, in a weird coincidence, she played the wife of George Segal, who passed away exactly a day before Walter did).

But I'll always treasure seeing her when I was a kid in Neil Simon's Rumors... that one had a powerhouse comedy cast in general (Christine Baranski, Andre Gregory, Joyce Van Patten, Ken Howard, etc.) – but best of all, as far as I'm aware, and others can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it might be the only time she ever acted onstage opposite her husband, the equally great Ron Leibman (who, in another odd coincidence, gave one of HIS best comedy performances on film in 1970's Where's Poppa playing the brother of... George Segal.)

They were terrific and hilarious together, and while they seem to have 3 or 4 joint one-off TV credits (playing husband and wife on a 1995 Law & Order, for example), as hilarious as she was on Arrested Development and as brilliant as he was in Angels in America, when I think of the two of them together I'll always think of them in Rumors, as the dinner guests trying desperately to restore order at an anniversary party gone very wrong.
