For the most part, streaming has always been allowed. You request permission from AEA, they send you to SAG/AFTRA for the appropriate contract. And require that you pay your SMs the same SAG rate, but benefits on the SM go to AEA. Usually AEA restricts how long you cna stream, usually for less time than SAG would allow. AEA has no jurisdiction. ANd after December 31, will have no jurisdiction once again. In the UK the unions are not involved in the Covid protocols for re-opening. The government is, as it should be.
