Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson plays Aretha Franklin in ''Respect,'' a big-screen biopic with Forest Whitaker and Audra McDonald. Hudson says she'd been talking for 15 years with Aretha about playing her, and can't believe her dream has come true. ''Respect'' was originally set to be released last December (for awards season); now, it's aiming for Aug. 13, 2021.
