| It was very illuminating. I had no idea that Lincoln Center just inviited Stro to come in and create anything she wanted. I realize that in the world of commercial theatre this is not often viable. But I have always felt that some of the best work comes from this kind of inspired creation. And that when artists are allowed to create like this, they can come up with something this is artistically celebrated, wins major awards and the accompanying validation, and is very popular with audiences. | |
