| BroadwayTonyJ, I have read that, while Cukor did indeed direct all of those scenes you mentioned, ALL of them were re-filmed, directed either by Fleming or one of the other directors who briefly worked on the film (I don't remember who did what). I have read that the ONLY moment directed by Cukor that remains in the completed film is Gable's first appearance at the Atlanta bazaar, though I'm not sure exactly how much of that was Cukor's. |
