I apologize, as this play has completed its availability, but I procrastinated until the last day ...
I did not see "The Thanksgiving Play" when it ran a couple years ago at Playwrights Horizons, but I had wanted to.
It worked very well as a Zoom play, especially with this cast (Bobby Cannavale, Keanu Reeves, Heidi Schreck, and Alia Shawkat), as directed by Leigh Silverman.
Very funny - it reminded me of plays like the Mad Ones' "Miles for Mary" (also at Playwrights Horizons in 2018), which I also loved.
I bought the 7-play subscription of Spotlight shows, and I'll watch more, maybe not all of them. Easy to watch on my FireTV. |
