Not a mess, you guys. C'mon.

"On the Town" a mess, but with its moments.

"A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" a TOTAL MESS.

"Man of La Mancha" a MESSSSSSSS.

Plenty of messes from the Golden Age.

"My Fair Lady" really isn't messy. Even the Audrey to Marni Nixon transitions really aren't that jarring if you didn't know to listen for them. Of course yes now we know that they should've cast Julie Andrews, but would we really want a world without her Mary Poppins?!?

I don't see a single flaw with it that couldn't be leveled at Shaw.

- GMB, who may find himself rewatching it soon now that he's feeling nostalgic
