We’re friends with George (not close, but still friends and colleagues). I am confident the world will see THE WINDS OF WINTER, the penultimate book in the series; I’m not so sure about A DREAM OF SPRING. He make a lot of progress up in his cabin during the lockdown, but he’s a notoriously slow worker.
I expect he will write what he wants to write, no matter what was shown in the series. Then those of us who felt the last two seasons went off the rails can scream, “Reboot! Reboot!” :)
