| Well, I've been 5'11 1/2" most of my adult life and report it as such (after rounding it up to 6ft when I was in my twenties). Do you consider that short? Actually, I bet I'm 5'11 these days--my husband has gone from 5'9" to 5'8," so age does "shorten" most people, I suspect. |

| Throughout the day about 1/2” or 1-2cm. Your spine compresses during the day being upright. Then there is Hollywood height were actors add a few inches— Tom cruise is a hollywood 6’. |
