Correct. Not a musical but the same plot based on Kopit's book. It also has the distinction to be the only (out of dozens) Phantom based films to actually film at the Paris Opera House. Dance is in fine form as the Phantom, even if I've never really enjoyed Kopit's decision to make the Phantom sassy and sarcastic.
