| I’ve been thinking if shorter one acts may be more appealing when Broadway reopens. I’m thinking of something like Hughie. The last Broadway revival clocked in around one hour from reports. At the time that seemed too short. Now it seems ideal. Didn’t see that production so not commenting on it specifically. | |

| A play like Hughie might appeal to producers because it is so small, but I don't think shortness will appeal particularly. (I also don't think Hughie is what people are clamoring for, but that's another matter.) Remember also that Broadway reopening will mean it is safe to go to the theatre. I don't think people will be looking for a quick grab and dash like some folks did going to the drug store during the height of the pandemic. | |

| I think that people are going to want to get their money's worth, as well as feel it was worth the time investment to get to the theater. It was nice they did the Actors Fund thing with Nathan Lane, but I'm not sure I would go through the trouble of getting to a Broadway theater for 36 minutes of show. But I don't think that people are going to want to sit for three hours in a crowded theater, either. | |
