Matt Doyle was such a joy and sounded sensational in Seth Rudetsky's latest online concert (which just wrapped up earlier this afternoon).
Matt did highlights from his musical resume, including ''All That's Known'' from ''Spring Awakening''; ''I Believe'' from ''The Book of Mormon,'' and '''Johanna'' from ''Sweeney Todd.'' And he sang solos from his dream roles, like Roger in ''Rent'' (''One Song Glory'') and Robert in ''The Bridges of Madison County'' (''It All Fades Away''). Matt also shared funny stories about Jonathan Groff & Co. in ''Spring Awakening''; recalled the bomb that was ''Bye Bye Birdie,'' and revealed how he landed his part of Jamie in ''Company,'' after being given 24 hours to learn ''Getting Married Today.''
There'll be an encore of Matt & Seth's concert tonight (4/4) only at 8 p.m., EST. For tickets, here's the link below ... |
