But the orchestrations are the same. Maybe a few very minor changes here and there. I think you mean that you prefer what the musical director did in some places to what Gemignani did.
Sondheim liked the production a lot, but I don't think I've ever heard or read him say anything about the cast recording or musical direction. I think he'd be unlikely to even imply anything negative about Gemignani. |
