| Still wish that the 2015 production of Carousel at the Lyric Opera in Chicago with Laura Osnes and Steven Pasquale had been recorded and/or gone to Broadway. It was really spectacular. For a taste, see the link below. | |

| I made a special trip to Chicago to see Lyric Opera of Chicago's production of Carousel. Gorgeous! Wonderful cast and beautifully staged. | |

| Yes, I'm bummed, too, that this revival of ''Carousel,'' with Osnes and Pasquale, didn't make it to Broadway (instead of the recent one that did). Also notable was Goodspeed's ''Carousel'' (2012), which starred James Snyder. I bet either he or Pasquale could've won a Tony as Billy Bigelow. |
