| Howard Miller reviews Blindness, currently running at the Daryl Roth Theatre: On March 11, 2020, the very last night before The Long Pause plunged New York theaters into shadow, I attended a performance of Endlings, Celine Song's play about the end of a way of life. How ironic it is, then, that my long anticipated return to the theater has taken me to yet another play about the end of a way of life. That play is Blindness, coming here following an acclaimed production at London's Donmar Warehouse and having its highly anticipated and highly scrutinized opening tonight at the Daryl Roth Theatre. |
