Not that we necessarily need any additional confirmation that this is a parody, but someone, I think on the other board, went to the final performance and didn't describe any of these things as having happened.
A few Tony Awards ago I was standing outside of Radio City Music Hall photographing the crowds exiting the movie palace. I spot Scott Rudin and approach him and congratulate on his win - big smile with a thank you and he agreed to be photographed - but things went south when I wanted to take a second one - he had a little hissy fit and and walked away
It was a “whatever” moment for me and not a big deal
Similar thing happened when I photographed Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward leaving that screening room near Carnegie Hall. -
The first click was fine - then Mr. Newman snapped at me after the second click “one was enough” he probably thought I was a paparazzo
I am in a way - but I don’t sell me photos and I am not out for blood
