| She is a wonder! I saw her at Dizzy's Place a year and a half ago. One of the best cabaret performances I've ever seen-and that includes Barbara Cook! She brings the whole audience with her, intimate yet swinging. | |

| It's so wonderful to hear that Ms. Maye is still kicking! I last saw her live in November 2018, in a now-defunct (pre-pandemic) cabaret room in suburban Philadelphia, and sensational is the only word I could use to describe it. The voice was in flawless shape, she worked the room with great banter, and her stamina made me jealous (and I'm nearly 60 years younger than her). She performed for 90 minutes without sitting down or so much as taking a sip of water. A legend in her own time. Happy birthday, Marilyn. Keep doing what you do! | |
