I will definitely drive to Costa Mesa, and hope that by 2022, I’ll feel more comfortable about live theatre. The Segerstrom Center is a barn, but so is the Dolby—neither are right for the show. My preference is more for the SC in OC, as I hate the Dolby with a passion, but ugh, the drive from the northwest San Fernando Valley to Costa Mesa is dreadful.
At least I’ll finally get to see it.
