I concur, PlazaBoy.

Someone else said, "Herd immunity is only beneficial to the unvaccinated."

I think that is oversimplifying matters. Scientists are not sure what percentage of the population needs to be immunized to achieve herd immunity. Here's an article from the Boston Globe, "Experts say ‘herd immunity’ could conquer COVID-19. But is it even possible?

Even if New York City is getting vaccinated, people elsewhere are not. Tourists will still come to the city and go to see shows. I have concerns about people buying fake vaccine passports.

One admittedly small study suggests that the Pfizer vaccine is not effective against the South African variant.

The linked article below contains links to other stories, including a variant tracker.

Yes, I am paranoid. I shared previously that a friend of mine who worked in theater died from covid a month ago. He had no comorbidities.
