yes... and... what would be ruined, or make the story/themes/impact invalid or beyond belief if those lines were to be rewritten to her being older than that?

That's my point. And as I keep acknowledging, it's not ideal... but the movie will either happen with Glenn soon, or not at all until another big start in her 50s/60s who can sing and has big box office appeal wants to take their chances with this iffy property. So assuming it DOES get made with Glenn now, I'm saying it's not very complicated to alter it to fit her current age presentation (which I think is 60s), and that alteration does not ruin what matters in the musical.
