It's as if you think I'm arguing that a 75 year old Glenn Close is how it SHOULD be played, or how I want it to be done in any future production... as if I don't constantly say it's not ideal, or it's not how it should be, but if it happens it's going to be that.
Yes, I agree with you. Calm down. But if this were the ONLY way to see it, the ONLY way it could be done then Close and Webber and everyone else involved (but especially them who were creating it in 1995) would have said "oh this is a terrible idea, it ruins the show, it doesn't work like this no matter what way we look at it, and so we won't do it obviously." CLEARLY they don't think you sacrifice enough by doing it with Glenn at her age to make it not worth doing (unrelated to whether it ever gets done).
