|I like brown rice, too -- it has a slightly nutty taste (I really love brown Basmati rice particularly), and also, being healthier, it tends to have more fiber which is good for keeping one regular. Wish there were such an ingredient to whisk away some of the non-nourishing stuff by individuals who hijack many entertaining and/or informative threads to very aggressively proselytize politically. At least, let them start their own threads. I'm pretty liberal myself, but some of the Voldemorts (they that must not be mentioned by name, that is) have agendas which, while worthy, get political much too often and repeat too many of the same points. For example, a while back when I was giving a sincere appreciation of one of the great under-appreciated movie talents, the great quadruple plus-threat Gene Nelson (dancer/singer/actor/ice skater/gymnast/writer/director/choreographer), some of that group decided to turn it away from a discussion of his talents into something political by his not being a POC and focusing on others who didn't have his opportunity. Sometimes tangents happen, as people who surf the internet know very well can easily happen. But maybe going off into about "Follies" which Nelson starred in, or one of his co-stars like Yvonne DeCarlo or Alexis Smith might be an internet surfing, logical kind of tangent. I might have actually gone off on the tangent on Nelson from a discussion of "Follies" myself!
But frankly, there are certain posters I really enjoy reading, some I'm ambivalent about (they're most likely moody) and others, including one particular person who is just plain mean-spirited most of the time, who I very definitely avoid, after having had a few faux-pissing contests (and one guy always seems to want to have the last say) earlier on with a few. Anyway, appreciate your compliment!
