The only Broadway shows that can survive without tourists are the limited-run shows produced on Broadway by the not-for-profit institutional theaters -- Lincoln Center, Manhattan Theatre Club, the Roundabout, and now Second Stage. Which is why, from the beginning of the pandemic, I've predicted that those are likely to be among the first Broadway productions to return.
