"Jacques d’Amboise, who shattered stereotypes about male dancers..."
Okay, so I'm assuming that the stereotype being referred to here is that all male ballet dancers are gay. Although I suppose it could also be that male ballet dancers will fuck anything with legs, limited only by their own orientations.
So...question...assuming that it's the first thing, how did Jacques d'Amboise do that, other than just being a heterosexual ballet star and being married with children? Did he talk about this in interviews, even back in the 1940's and 1950's? Did he found support groups for straight male ballet dancers? How does one shatter this stereotype?
