Did you mean "Moonlight"? Because "Moonlighting" is a TV series about two white folks who crack wise and solve crime.
Flop is a theater specific word that doesn't really apply to film, but based on which number we believe for its budget, the "Annie" remake either reached break even or got close, making it a film that underperformed rather than an out and out bomb. And in terms of whether or not it worked, the critical response was very negative, but audience response (as measured by CinemaScore) was positive. The response from awards bodies was equally mixed: the film was nominated for two Golden Globes but also two Razzies, "winning" for Worst Remake, but the other Razzie for Cameron Diaz was matched by a Kids Choice Nomination for Diaz in both Best Villain and Favorite Movie Actress.
All of this research you could have done in two minutes on Wikipedia, but I get that isn't really you way... unless you meant to compare "Annie" to a mid-80s TV show. Either way, your post is nonsense, end of story.
