I am sure there will be discounts in due course. The early performances of many/most shows are likely to be sold out because of pent-up demand from hard core theatregoers. (Much like early previews are often sold out even for shows that flop miserably in the end.) Right now, I think most producers are going to wait and see. We are, after all, in VERY uncharted territory. My guess is we will start to see some discounts before Labor Day, maybe before, depending on advances. Because of its current owner, Broadway Box has become one of the worst places to look for codes. I expect that both Playbill and Theatermania will continue to be good sources. Another place to look for discounts will be TodayTix or of course TKTS for last minute. Welcome back to the game.
