Thanks Reed23! Very well put. I fear that we will soon see posts condemining Broadway as it re-opens for not replacing the casts of shows, firing company managers, general managers, casting directors, ad agencies, and press agencies etc - and for producer to drop shows they have been working on or five years to do shows that some 'commitee' thinks should be produced. None of which will happen. Broadway knows the issues. Broadway is working on them. Broadway which is not a monolith but rather 100s and 1000s of individuals. We are almost 60 years on from Civil Rights legislation, and we are still trying to achieve equity and diversity in society as a whole. This is not coming to Broadway overnight.
