I enjoyed your post, schauspieler. We share similar memories. I was 9 when I saw Bye Bye Birdie at the Teatro del Lago in Wilmette, Illinois to a capacity-filled house. I vividly remember seeing this for the first time like it was yesterday. I have loved this film musical ever since.
In my den I have the movie poster mounted and framed (I love the staple marks showing having been used in its theatrical release). Great conversation piece!
