| Just watched a wonderful free streaming concert by the Lyric Opera of Chicago put together by David Chase - primary performers are Norm Lewis, Gavin Creel and Nikki Renee Daniels. Some highlights include Rain from Once on This Island (Norm), This Is Not Over Yet (Gavin), and How Will I Ever Know? (Nikki). Joining them are Jenn Gambatese, Heath Saunders, Jo Lampert and Amanda Castro. Each of the lead performers performs a song that is usually done by the opposite gender - Popular (Gavin), Dear Theodosia (Nikki) and I Will Never Leave You (Norm). The whole concert is only about 70 minutes and definitely worth your time. |
