| I read everything. The BS is that he said he was suing, the BS is that he said he would open at 100% even if it meant getting arrested, the BS he said he could not afford to open at less than 100%, and it was BS when he said that he would not reopen at a higher percent because others could not. I never suggested, nor would I, that he ever pushed for reopening without ANY safety precautions. The entire point is that he is a composer, not an epidemiologist, and does not appreciate what precautions science dictates in the circumstances presented. The Korean thing is a perfect example. He thought he could pick it up and transport it to the UK, oblivious to the huge epidemiologic differences between the two places. He was also oblivious (and remains so) to the fact that the single most dangerous thing you can do is allow large numbers of people to congregate indoors, not to mention with the advent of Delta, the implications of which to the unvaccinated are TBD. And this is the man who thought it would be cool to spray his audiences with poison while they were sitting in the theatre FCS. I am not BSing. I get that you see what he is doing, but I respectfully suggest you are nonetheless choosing to be an apologist. That's your choice. I'm sorry I have not been able to dissuade you from it. |
