Hi, Bob!
I never went on for Harry MacAfee, but I was certainly prepared (I did NOT want to copy Paul Lynde). Several cast members jokingly called me Eve Harrington, as I always watching Harry from the wings (his hilarious monologue in the kitchen was the hardest for me to keep up with).
I had a ball being the Mayor of Sweet Apple especially during "Honestly Sincere." Loved "Shriners Ballet." Fun number!
Stage and film productions of Bye Bye Birdie are different all-around. I love them both. |
