The "plot point" of the ballet is that Rosie, fueled with adrenaline after splitting from Albert, is dying to raise a little hell - but (in a comic way) ends up with much more than she bargained for. (I qualify it as "in a comic way" because it's not what happens with Anita in the drugstore, for instance.)
Which is, when you think about it, the same concept as what happens with Conrad and the girls in the ice house (and we see that he's really not the "stud" he wants people to believe he is).
In that sense, both scenes compliment each other, and so it's hard to call one or the other sexist on its own terms. |
