Tickets went on sale a year and a half ago – and best as I can determine, promptly sold out.
Did they at least refund everyone's tickets back then, I would assume (hope?), or have they just been sitting on everybody's money since Jan-Feb 2020?
If it's the latter, and with no rescheduled date in sight, I'd imagine that by this point they'd have to wind up refunding a lot of tickets, since so many people have by now either left the city, are spending less time there, have had health circumstances change, or merely have started to reschedule travel plans now that things are opening up, and thus might no longer be free and/or able to attend whenever the new date is determined, nearly 2 years after it was originally on the calendar.
(And if it's the former, i.e. that they already refunded everybody, then I wouldn't be surprised if this gets held off to later next spring, roughly 2 years after the original date – when they're certain of no further outbreaks or resurgence or shutdowns – or simply goes away indefinitely for the time being.) |
